The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture, atop low rise. Roughly circular area (40.6m N-S; 40.6m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.55m; Wth 5m). Along base of scarp band of darker-coloured grass (Wth c. 4.8m) SW->SE probably marks line of silted-up fosse; this is overlain by field boundary SE->SW. Level interior covered in tall grass.
