In undulating pasture, bisected by public road which forms townland boundary between Cooga Upper and Lower . Depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map as a substantial circular-shaped enclosure (diam. 61m), bisected by the public road running N-S across the W half of the monument. Only the W half of the monument is depicted on the OS 25-inch map as the W arc (C. 36m NNW-SSE) which is defined by the public road to E. Monument is visible as a segmental-shaped area to the immediate W of the public road, which is enclosed from SW-W-NNW by a newly constructed access road to an existing dwelling on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
