The National Monuments Service's description
On SW-facing slope, in rough poorly drained pasture 90m SE of Kilmoylan House, overlooking a stream 45m to SE. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map as a subcircular-shaped enclosure (approx. dims. 32m NE-SW; 33m NW-SE) standing on the demesne lands of Kilmoylan House with walled garden immediately to W. Not indicated on 1897 OS 25-inch map or revised 6-inch OS map. Monument is visible today as a roughly oval-shaped, partially tree-lined enclosure on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018. Outline of monument clearly visible on earlier OSi othophotos.
