The National Monuments Service's description
On N-facing slope, in rough pasture, overlooking valley of the Aughvaria River to N and Gortnageragh River to S. Depicted on the OS 25-inch map as a penannular-shaped earthwork or platform, which is open to SW. A well is also shown c. 12m to S. Monument visible as a tree-covered oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 11/03/2014.
