The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in undulating pasture, with good views from NE to S. Depicted on the 1927 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval mound (c. 10m NW-SE;c. 6m SW-NE)) is now evident as an oval area (14.5m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 6.9m; H 0.8m).
