The National Monuments Service's description

Situated immediately E of a track on a gentle NNE-facing slope in rolling pasture with good views in all directions. Indicated on the 1927 OS 6-inch map as a sub-circular mound (diam. c. 10m) and named 'Cranharry'. The monument is obscured by dense scrub vegetation but part of the scarped edge (Wth 1.8m; H 1.1m) which defines it is evident at W.
