The National Monuments Service's description

Situated immediately E of a public road and S of a deserted farmyard, on a S-facing slope in rolling pasture. Medieval church ruins of Dubh Dhá Thuath stands in the centre of Kilduffahoo (Chill Dubh Dhá Thuath) graveyard (LI015-008002-) which was mainly used as a children's burial ground. In 1840 the Ordnance Survey recorded that this building was the remains of a friary church. The S half of the E gable remains upstanding while the lower courses of the N and S walls survive with wall footings of the W gable. Church ruins standing inside woodland area covered in scrub and ivy making detailed examination of the remains impossible. Graveyard are mainly used as a children's burial ground located immediately S of church.
Church ruins described in 1840 as following; 'This is the ruins of a Friary, about 60 feet [18.2m] long and 24 feet [7.3m] wide, with a portion of the walls 4 feet [1.2m] high. Attached to it is a small burial ground, on an eminence about 1 chain [20m] in diameter, used now chiefly for the interments of children' (OSNB, Doon parish, Book 2, 603).
