The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in the SW corner of a field of poorly-drained pasture, c. 20m S of a spring on a S-facing slope. The site is ringed from NW to S by a stream which flows down from the spring ans truncated at S by a drain. Horseshoe shaped mound (c. 16m E-W; H 1.5m) with an opening (Wth 4.4m) facing towards the NE. Fire-cracked stones are visible in the roots of a tree on the mound.
