The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope in undulating pasture with good views in all directions. The monument is partially obscured by scrup overgrowth but is evident as a sub-circular area (diam. 27m) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3.7m; H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 2.25m; D 0.4m) to SE. mature trees grow along the enclosing element.
