The National Monuments Service's description

One of a cluster of 6 barrows (LI014-162/163/155001/155002/156----) in wetland to the immediate N of large barrow (LI014-155001-). Identified by Melanie McQuaid, archaeologist, Forestry Service Inspectorate, Dept .of Agriculture, Food and the Marine in 2016 during site inspection of forestry drains and removal of saplings. Site described as following; ‘During the site inspection a raised area was evident here which seems to correspond with the c. 6m diameter feature indicated on the aerial photographs. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were noted at this location at the time of inspection’. McQuaid concludes that this monument is a geomorphic feature (McQuade 2016). Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and the Google Earth image taken in 2006 and 2017 shows a raised green in the location of the monument.
