The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a S-facing slope in rolling pasture. the monument consists of a circular area (25m N-S; 24.6m NE-SW) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 5.4m; H 0.5m) with an external fosse (Wth 5.7m) and a counter-scarp bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 4.5m; ext. H 0.4m). The scarp is most evident from NNW to WSW, the fosse from N to ESE and at SW. The external bank is evident from N to ESE. The interior slopes to SW.
