The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope in poorly-drained rolling pasture, immediately N of a small river, with good views to SE, S and W. Roughly circular area (56m E-W; 39.5m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 4m, H 0.3m), with an external fosse (Wth 1.3m; H 0.3m) evident from W to NE. In the interior a sub-oval area (12m N-S) is defined by a scarped edge (Wth 1.6m; H 0.3m) from SE to N. The morphology of this enclosure indicates that it may be Bronze Age in date (Doody 2008, 129).
