The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in poorly-drained, gently rolling pasture with good views in all directions. The monument is evident as a roughly circular area (15.4m NE-SW; 14.6m NW-SE) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 1m; ext. H 1.1m) which dips in the S (Wth 12m), with an external fosse from NNE to NW (Wth 4.6m), and an external earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; Wth 1.2m; ext. H 0.3m) evident from NNE to E and from SE to SW and from WSW to NW. The interior and the enclosing element have been heavily poached by cattle.
