The National Monuments Service's description
Situated immediately S and E of roads at a crossroads on a hill overlooking undulating pasture, with good views to N, E and S. Site of R.C. Chapel (LI014-086001-) depicted to S of graveyard on 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. Graveyard depicted on the 1923 ed. OS 6-inch map as a sub-rectangular area (c. 20-30m N-S; 20m E-W). The graveyard is still in use. Most of the graves are orientated E-W. One 19th century grave in the E of the site is orientated ESE-WNW. There are several 19th century headstones evident as well as recumbent slabs, which have become covered over by vegetation. Many of the older grave slabs have subsided. There is a possible embankment in the NE of the site (Wth. 4.4m; H 0.9m) where the ground falls away sharply from S to N.
