The National Monuments Service's description
Located immediately W of a field boundary on a gentle W-facing slope in gently rolling pasture. Sub-oval area (30m N-S; 21.8m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth. 4.9m; H 0.8m) from SE to NNW. There is a gentle dip in the scarp to the S (Wth. 4.8m) The scarp is not visible to the N and E, where there is a field boundary and a nursery for small trees. There is a very large mature deciduous tree to the NE of the interior. The interior is even and slopes down to SW.
