The National Monuments Service's description

On SE-facing slope in deciduous woodland. Lawn of Clorane House adjoins to E. Roughly rectangular area (38m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank SE->N and by scarped edge (H 1.25m) N->SE. Bank (H 1.27m) best preserved SW->NNW. Interior, planted with mature deciduous trees, slopes down to the SE.
