The National Monuments Service's description
In deciduous woodland, on level terrain. Circular area (26.5m N-S; 26.4m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1m) with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 1.3m). Bank lowers noticeably at SE. Interior surface, which slopes gently down to SE, is covered by ground ivy with mature deciduous trees overhead.
