The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in E-facing slope overlooking river valley. Oval area (38m N-S) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 0.85m) NW->SW, but bank truncated by field boundary SW->NW. Bank is widened (Wth 3m) by boulders dumped atop it at NE->SE. Bank dips at SSW. Level interior covered with nettles.
