The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop low hill. Roughly circular area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.2m), with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 1.2m) NE->SE. Bank denuded to scarped edge (H 0.45m; Wth 4m) SE->NNE from which there is a gradual slope down towards centre of enclosure. Dry-stone field boundary (H 0.9m) runs along outer edge of fosse NNE->SE. Interior under pasture.
