The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on level terrain. Oval area (39.7m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.6m) with external fosse (D 0.55m; Wth 1.1m). Bank, much denuded by cattle, becomes scarp-like in places. Bank is overlain by field boundary system SW->ESE. Fosse is waterlogged and best preserved along S arc; it feeds into an underground drain at E. Entrance (Wth 3.8m) at SE approached by farm passage. Interior, covered by mature apple trees, is heavily poached by cattle.
