The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying, rough wet pasture. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Identified in 1999 as a possible fulacht fia (Site 11) or a modern spoil heap by Celie O’Rahilly when walking the route of a proposed ESB power line. Described as a low mound situated at the E end of a now enlarged drain/pond. Two cairns (LI010-129-/130----) are 104m to E and 125m to ESE, respectively. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 or Google Earth orthoimages taken 29/03/2012.
