The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying pasture, c. 390m to SW of an inlet of the Shannon Estuary. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Identified in 1999 as a cairn by Celie O’ Rahilly when walking the route of a proposed ESB power line. Described as a large oval-shaped cairn orientated N-S and covered by scrub. A second similar feature (LI010-130----) lies c. 22m to SE. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped scrub-covered area (25m NE-SW; 13.5m NW-SE) on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 29/03/2012.
