The National Monuments Service's description
In flat pasture 1km E of the Killeenagarriff River, 300m W of the townland boundary with Coolbreedeen. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. The site description is based upon the revised 1897 OS 25-inch map, Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018. Monument consists of a roughly circular shaped area (dims. c. 38m W), with a wide external fosse (c. 4-5m wide), visible at S and W only. The ringfort bank and interior are covered in dense scrub and trees. It is likely to be a ringfort.
