The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a S-facing slope on the N side of the valley of a meandering W-E section of the Mattock River, which is c. 80m to the W and c. 50m to the S. The cropmark of an arc of a fosse (Wth c. 2-3m) is visible W-N-E (int. diam. c. 35m E-W) only on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during June 2018. It was first reported by Anthony Murphy.
