The National Monuments Service's description

Six building plots were uncovered here in 2005 during archaeological testing (Excavation Licence No. 04E1605). A stone-lined hearth and a timber tanning pit were uncovered in one of the plots. Pottery of 14th-century date was noted in association with the plots. (Linnane 2008, 260)
