The National Monuments Service's description

Discovered during archaeological test trenching in 1998 (Excavation Licence No. 98E0406). Three linear features (average Wths 0.75m, 0.85m and 1.1m) all running in a N-S direction and filled with a dark brown silty clay containing animal bone and medieval pottery were uncovered. A number of pits were also found and these appeared to represent medieval activity. (Murphy 1999)
