The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the broad summit of a WNW-ESE ridge. The cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 60m) defined by a single continuous fosse that has a gap (Wth c. 12m) at S is visible on Google Earth (21/07/2021). It is in the NE corner of a field that is depicted on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. It is also visible on Digital Globe (2011-13), and it was first reported by Jean Charles Caillére.
