The National Monuments Service's description
Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of an E-W ridge towards its E end. The cropmark of a large subcircular enclosure (dims c. 100m N-S; c. 80m E-W) defined by a wide fosse feature (Wth c. 5-10m) is visible on Google Earth (19/04/2011; 27/04/2011) and OSI aerial images (1995, 2017). It was on the demesne of Drumcashel House, which was c. 60m to the S, and the motte (LH014-049----) is c. 100m to the NW. It was first reported by Anthony Murphy.
