The National Monuments Service's description

Discovered during pre-development excavation (Excavation Licence No. 00E0132). Two spreads (12m x 12m and 10m x 4m) of charcoal rich clay with concentrations of heat shattered stones were initially identified. Excavation uncovered three troughs and three postholes which were contained in one large cut. The only diagnostic find was a single sherd of E ware pottery from the upper fill of one of the troughs.
