The National Monuments Service's description

Discovered during pre-development test excavation (Excavation Licence No. 98E0440 ext.). The remains of a ploughed out fulacht fia with a max. D of 0.4m were identified. Four pits were excavated, the largest of which probably functioned as a trough (c. 3m x 1.35m; max. D 0.4m). (McLoughlin 2000, 213)
