The National Monuments Service's description
Located c. 30m from the east bank of the Glyde River and almost directly opposite Philipstown graveyard (LH011-061002-) and souterrain (LH011-060---). It is drystone-built and was accessed through a breach in the roof of a roughly beehive-shaped chamber. Only a short section (c. 4.5m) was accessible as the passages at either end of the chamber were filled with collapse material. The accessible section of the souterrain was orientated almost exactly north-south and a small niche was set into the eastern side of the chamber. (Campbell and Brady 2013, 42-44)
