The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered during test trenching (Excavation Licence 97E0141). Living floors and wall foundations of buildings ranging in date from the 13th/14th century to the early 19th century were revealed. A small number of finds were retrieved consisting of pottery and glass. (Campbell 1998)
