The National Monuments Service's description
Possibly associated with an unclassified castle (LF027-046----) c. 140m to the NW. Depicted and named 'Fish Pond' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. The pond is now dry but a large sunken terrace marks its location. Earthworks (LF027-046002-) may be associated.
