The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise in pasture. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1883 revised ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Not indicated on the 1837 ed. A raised circular area (diam. c. 21m) defined by a much-eroded, low scarp (H 0.5-1.4m). There is no trace of a fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable. Mature deciduous trees are growing on it. Possibly a rath that was reused as a tree-ring in relatively modern times.
