The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise, within a walled deerpark (LF023-135----), with good views in all directions. A cashel (LF023-071----) lies c. 250m to SSW and a levelled enclosure (LF023-069----) c. 250m to NW. All that survives are the low grass-covered wall-footings (H 0.3m; Wth 0.6m) of a rectangular house (ext. dims. 11.9m NE-SW; 6.2m N-S) orientated on a NE-SW axis. A doorway (Wth 1.5m) is evident at the S end of SE wall. Internally the house was divided into two rooms with the larger one (int. dims. 10.7m N-S; 5m N-S) at the NE end and the smaller one (int. dims. 5m N-S; 3.5m NE-SW) at the SW end. The dating of this house is uncertain but it may pre-date AD 1700.
