The National Monuments Service's description

A small area of exposed brushwood (1.5m NW-SE; 0.30m NE-SW) was located on the field surface and was being milled. Two long but degraded pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.01m and 0.02m) extended NW-SE along the length of the exposure. A short brushwood (diam. 0.015m) extended N-S across both of these. Other short fragments of brushwood present were orientated both NW-SE and NE-SW. The larger longitudinal brushwood had a possible coppiced heel at its NW end. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a platform. (Dunne 1999, 42, 99DD0007A)
