The National Monuments Service's description

Originally recorded as a number of patches of tightly packed brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.03m) exposed over quite a large area of one field (exposed area 11m N-S; 6m E-W). The remains were on the field surface and were being milled but may have survived intact under the central dome of the field (Dunne 1999, 41, 99DD0005A-D). During excavation a cutting (1m x 1m) was opened, which uncovered a possible hurdle, the elements of which ranged in diameter from 0.007 to 0.032m and were orientated NW-SE. The rest of the remains were very badly degraded (Dunne 2002c, 204).
