The National Monuments Service's description
Within a graveyard (LF017-003008-), to the S of the 19th-century church. This rectangular graveslab (H 0.85m; Wth 0.18m; T 0.16m), of pink sandstone, is dated 1690 and is dedicated to Edmond Banan. The inscription carved in conjoined Roman capitals and in low relief reads: IHS/PRAY/FO/R THE SO/VLE OF/EDMON/ D BANA/N WHO/ DYED IN/ Ye 19 OF A/ PRILL/ 1690/ WB (Bradley et al. 1985, 27-8).
