The National Monuments Service's description

Within a small thicket of hawthorn and bramble. Depicted on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a small circular enclosure with the designation ‘Fort’. A small, circular earthwork (diam. c. 7m), possibly a barrow.
