The National Monuments Service's description
Within a possible ecclesiastical enclosure (LF014-092002-), just off-centre to the NE. Depicted on an early 17th-century map of Ardagh barony (BL, Cotton MS Augustus I.ii.25) as the church of 'Lissabane'. Only fragmentary remains (ext. dims. c. 14m E-W; c. 8m N-S; wall T 0.95m) survive. It was constructed of large boulders. No architectural features are evident.
