The National Monuments Service's description

Three closely set split timbers extended into both sides of a drain (exposed Wth 0.24m; T 0.17m): timber A (Wth 0.06m; T 0.04m; exposed L 0.11m), timber B (Wth 0.10m; T 0.05m; exposed L 0.14m), timber C (Wth 0.12m; T 0.03m; exposed L 0.08m). There was some evidence of woodworking. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a togher. (Dunne 1999, 54, 99BG0019A)
