The National Monuments Service's description
An oak tree stump surrounded by a layer of charcoal suggesting that it had been burnt by fire. Nearby there are some split oak timbers. This may be the remains of a clearance. The evidence is insufficient to warrant acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
