The National Monuments Service's description
In the field immediately to the W of the church (LF013-045002-) and graveyard (LF013-045009-). Described in 1975 (SMR file) as a rectangular enclosure (30m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by a low bank. It extended to the W wall of the graveyard and was considered to represent the remains of a possible domestic building associated with the 'abbey' or an earlier church. Present remains consist of a low elevated platform.
