The National Monuments Service's description
Among reeds along the shoreline of Lough Kinale, at the junction of the original outflow of the Inny River into the lake. A slightly dry area, with some rounded stones, may represent a small platform crannog (Fredengren et al. 2010, 131, Fig. 4.1, no. 4). There is a settlement platform (LF011-067002-) to the ESE.
