The National Monuments Service's description
In level, low-lying pasture. A short distance to the W is a stream. A raised subcircular area (32m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.2-6.8m; H 0.7-0.9m) with a shallow intervening fosse (Wth 8.4-9.2m; D 0.1-0.3m), which has been infilled from SSE-S-NNW, and traces of an outer bank (Wth 4m; H 0.2m) at NNE and ENE. A report in 1975 (SMR file) suggested that the original entrance may have been at SSE.
