The National Monuments Service's description
On level, waterlogged ground at the base of an E-facing slope. A raised circular area (diam. 30m) enclosed by a partially denuded bank of earth and stone (Wth 4-4.6m; H 0.45-0.75m) with an intervening fosse (Wth 4-5m; D 0.1-0.3m), which are identifiable from N-NNE-NE, from SE-S-SW and from W-WNW-NW, and an outer bank (Wth c. 4m; H 0.6m) visible at SE and S. A break (Wth 3.1m) in the bank at ENE probably marks the original entrance. Adjoining the rath at SE is an enclosure (LF011-026002-); the latter may be an annexe or later feature.
