The National Monuments Service's description
This togher (L 2.2m; Wth 0.88m; D 0.28m), orientated E-W, was composed of irregular brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.04m), a single roundwood (diam. 0.07m) and occasional twigs. The wood was heavily fragmented with no pieces over 0.38m in length. It was, however, in a moderately good state of preservation. Only two metal-cut toolmarks were recovered. Wood species included hazel, alder, birch, ash, willow, apple-type and ivy. The togher lay 4m W of another togher (LF004-050----) and 2m N of a possible structure (LF004-052----) (Moore and O'Connor 2009b, 15, TOM 4).
