The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a drumlin in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 42m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 7m; H 1.3-1.5m) with a wide, deep intervening fosse (Wth 6m; D 1.3m) and an outer bank (Wth 5.5m; H 0.7m). The outer bank is not evident from NW-N-NE. A break (Wth 6m) in the inner bank at E may mark the original entrance.
