The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. A circular feature is visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: G, 156-7). This is a grass and rush-covered circular area (int. diam. 22m) defined by a slight, scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth 6-7m; H 0.2-0.3m). The monument was bisected by a NW-SE field bank which has been removed.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
