The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the top of the NE-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass and reed-covered circular area (int. diam. 24.5m E-W; 23.8m N-S) that slopes down slightly to the NE and which is defined by a round-topped, overgrown, earthen bank (at W: Wth 2.9m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.2m) separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (at W: Wth of base 3.3m) from an outer bank (at W: Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.2m). The original entrance is not identified.
